The Nigerian international has impressed in the Eternal City and has been linked with a move to Everton recently
Young Lazio midfielder Ogenyi Onazi has declared his interest in signing for Liverpool, with Everton also thought to be monitoring the situation.

The 20-year-old has made 14 appearances for the Rome club so far this season and is believed to be attracting interest from the likes of Wolfsburg and Fiorentina, as well as the Toffees.

However, Onazi has declared himself interested in a move to the Red side of Merseyside at some point in the future.

“I would jump at the chance to play in the Premier League,” said Onazi following Nigeria’s 2-2 draw with Italy at Craven Cottage.

“Liverpool? They are a huge team and are attractive to any footballer. I could see myself playing for them.”
