Have Your Say: Do you agree with Wayne Rooney?

article-2449615-189ADEC600000578-188_634x454Wayne Rooney has described England’s current attacking line-up as the best he has seen in 10 years on the international stage.

Current England Manager, Roy Hodgson has five forwards to choose from for the crucial World Cup qualifiers against Montengro and Poland, and Rooney is impressed by the options at their disposal.

The Manchester United striker said: “I think since I’ve been in the squad this is probably the best group of forwards we’ve had in terms of ability, goal-scoring wise. Then obviously Rickie Lambert’s come into the squad, he’s scoring goals for Southampton he’s done really well for England.

“Then you’ve got Welbeck and Sturridge and then obviously myself. Me and Jermain (Defoe) have probably been around the squad a bit longer and I think with Sturridge and Welbeck there’s a lot of energy. Obviously we can both score goals so it’s a good blend of forwards.”

Do you agree with Wayne Rooney, has this been the best set of forwards that the Three Lions have produced in a decade?
