Chelsea could be crowned Champions of England by as early as Friday this week; after a devastating performance at the Bridge against relegation bound Middlesborough and considering Tottenham Hotspurs dropped points in the London derby against West Ham earlier on Friday night; all eyes will be at the Hawthorns as the Champions elect proceed to their coronation event which includes a Ninety minutes confrontation with Tony Pulis’ West Brom.
In terms of stand out performances; the Etihad was the ideal location for probably the best display of attacking football you would see from a Pep Guardiola coached side. The Citizens were fluid, expressive and quite dynamic to the point that their two center backs chipped in with goals.
At the Emirates; Arsene Wenger finally got the better of Jose Mourinho in a competitive game and I must say it seems Alex 0xlade Chamberlain has developed a knack for finding his best form when faced with Manchester United. At Anfield, the gift that keeps giving Liverpool continued their Robin Hood acts as Southampton got a well deserved nil-nil draw especially after the penalty save by Fraser Forster.
