Halftimeng Premier League Team of Week 25

What a great weekend of action we have just had and you know its great when the league leading team decides to switch formations in a tough league battle at Turf Moor; Chelsea were given as much as they could give by the Clarets and Blues up in Lancashire. I am tempted to go with Sean Dyche as my manager of the week after a great, gritty performance, but that honour goes to Claude Puel who has breathe new life to Southampton with the capture of Manolo Gabbiadini; a player I have greatly admired from Serie A and with Napoli and I know a certain Jeffery will be reading now and saying I told you he’s a striker; whilst I believed he was better suited playing behind the striker; with three goals in two games in a new league and environment; he is my player of the week.

My team of the week selection is set up in a 4-3-3 formation; a departure from the 3-4-3 craze of the last few weeks with no Manchester United players included despite super performances from Juan Mata and Antony Martial. Its my Birthday week and I would love it to be controversy free; I hope you can oblige me that.

In Goal; is Hugo Lloris of Tottenham Hotspurs; without him between the sticks, it could have been more than two goals with Liverpool hitting 12 shots on target. My back four comprises; Carl Naughton of  rejuvenated Swansea at Right Back, Ryan Bertrand of Southampton at Left back with a Center Back pairing of unlikely bed fellows of Alfie Mawson and Micheal Keane (if you restrict Chelsea to 2 shots on target all game, you deserve you inclusion) of Swansea and Burnley respectively.

In Midfield is the ever reliable and dependable N’golo Kante; mopping up, clean up and spreading out the play for Chelsea, Mario Lanzini with a stunning strike for West Ham despite how badly his manager felt and the hopefully cool, calm and repentant Manchester City Fernandinho.

Up front; Its Kop brace hero; Sadio Mane, Emirates and Arsenal sole Performer; completed by the Twenty Million Euros Premier League entrant; Manolo Gabbiadini.

**Let me know what you think about the selection and what you would like to see differently in the comments section. Thank you
