Halftimeng Premier League Team of Week 24

Who doesn’t like Sergio Aguero? You cannot but just admire the Argentine striker and his prowess on the European stage; with a minimum of fifteen goals in each of the last five seasons; he is heads and shoulders above many of his pairs. Manchester City snapped out of their Anfield slump only for their conquerors to suffer a major hangover at bottom club Swansea City as Liverpool continued their good nature of taking from the big clubs only to transfer same to struggling clubs.

Finally, Manchester United have gotten their man; so also Arsenal as both clubs agreed a swap deal for Alexis Sanchez and Henrikh Mkhitaryan. Who got the better deal? Well you would have to say United did; as the numbers and the impact of Alexis in the Premier League are there to see; however Arsenal have also gotten a top quality player who could thrive in a team that pays little or no attention to the defensive side of the game; it is a new lease of life for the Armenian International.

This past weekend saw the bottom four clubs all avoid defeat; Stoke City and Swansea both won; whilst Southampton and West Brom all picked up valuable draws as they all fight to avoid the drop to the Championship next season.

Here’s my team of the week in a 4-3-3 formation:
