Halftimeng Glo NPFL Team of Week 34

Lobi Stars gaffer, Evans Ogenyi has emerged as the coach of week of Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) Matchday 34 midweek games, he will be tutoring the Best 11 as well. Evans guided his wards to another goalless draw on Wednesday against Kwara United in Ilorin after the team forced Warri Wolves to a barren draw in the penultimate week, thus taking the unbeaten streak of the club to four. Prior to this game, the Benue Army needed a point to come out of the drop zone and they muscled it out against the Afonja Warriors.

Terkaa Melai of Lobi Stars has been putting up impressive performance in recent times, he denied the Afonja Warriors a couple of goal scoring chances as he made breathtaking saves, Lobi Stars couldn’t have come out of the basement if not for the youngster who is putting in his best by ensuring that his team left Ilorin with a precious away point. His performance between the sticks in Ilorin has earned him our player of the week award joined by his colleagues  at Lobi Stars especially in  defense.. The two teams defenders were superb for their respective teams, both teams picked a point each on the road. Emmanuel Olowo of Sunshine Stars will be leading the four-man defence along with the duo of Anthony Agbaji and Samuel Irolo of Lobi Stars while Jude Ebitogwa will play in the right back position.

Super-sub,Obioma Arinze whose goal separated Nembe City and Restoration Boys in a Bayelsa derby will be playing in the middle with Gombe United match winner, Lucky Edjebare while the Northern derby match decider, Tijanni Adamu will complete the midfield.

Christian Pyagbara will be playing supporting the two strikers, Pyagbara netted two goals in Port Harcourt against difficult ELKANEMI Warriors and helped Sharks Fc to registered an emphatic victory over the Borno Warriors , he will be stringing the ball behind league top scorer, Victor Namo and league second top scorer Ogenekaro Etebo. Etebo scored three goals in the first half for Warri Wolves as he single handedly destroyed Wikki Tourists, Namo on the other hand scored twice for Nasarawa United as they pummel 3SC by three goals to nill.
