This is as a result of their sterling performance on Sunday in Bauchi as they stunned Wikki Tourist 0-1 to record their second road trip victory and the 16th away win in the NPFL this term. The enterprising Midfielder was selected ahead of two players who also put up brilliant displays for their various teams victorious outings, Super Eagle’s midfielder, Rabiu Alli scored twice for Kano Pillars as the Sai Masu Gida beat Enugu Rangers on Saturday, Akwa United youngster, Mfon Udoh was instrumental to his team as they thrashed Sunshine Stars by four goals to nill, Udoh got a brace.

Heartland coach, Romson Madu takes the coaches award, winning the award for the first time, following his team’s effort in getting a convincing away victory, won him the award.

Ebele Obi, Heartland goal keeper will be manning the goal post for this week’s best 11. He was awesome for ‘The Naze Millionaires’ against Wikki Tourists as he denied them a number of goal scoring chances.

Chinedu Efugh of Heartland Fc will lead the four-man defence along side Ifeanyi Udoji of Enyimba, Adeyinka Adedeji of Sharks will be in the left back position while Seun Sogbeso of ABS FC will be in the right back position.

Kano Pillars mercuria midfielder, Rabiu Alli will stare the ship in the middle of the pack, Bayelsa United powerful defensive midfielder, Azubuike Okechukwu will be on clean up duty in the heart of the midfield, and our player of the week Uchenna Orisakwe, will complete the three-man midfielders.

The trio of Mfon Udoh, Muktar Saliu and Lekan Agunloye will be in the attack. Mfon has 11 goals to his name this season whilst, Saliu’s goal against 3SC gave ABS Fc of Ilorin a point in Ibadan, former Crown Fc striker Lekan Agunloye, helped Lobi Stars secured a one nil victory over arch rival Nasarawa United in a River Benue derby on Sunday.
