Manchester City are looking to turn to Sergio Ramos from Real Madrid as a way of easing their defensive worries.
Ramos may be persuaded to leave Real as friction continues between the player and the club, according to theDaily Mirror.
Man City have had their fair share of injury problems, and see Ramos as an answer to their issues, the newspaper claims.
Ramos is currently having an argument with Real Madrid over wage demands, as the club are refusing to pay what he is asking for.
The Spanish star does have a £41million release clause in his contract, and Man City may be prepared to take up the offer for Ramos, the paper claims.
The defender has other offers for his services, including Paris St Germain, who are reported by the newspaper to be prepared to pay Ramos £7.2million a year to beat City to his signature.
Man City are also looking to bring in a goalkeeper in January, according to the report, as the scepticism over Joe Hart’s future at the Etihad continues.
Julio Cesar is interesting Manuel Pellegrini, the newspaper adds, and he is looking to bring in the Queens Park Rangers keeper in the January transfer window.
Cesar has not been a number one at Loftus Road and is likely to leave the club in January, the report adds.
